Our Leadership Team
Pastor Jackie Lowe
Pastor Jackie Lowe, founder of The Voice Within Ministries, is an entrepreneur, financial services officer, motivational speaker, Christian, and pastor. A native of Portland, Oregon, he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at age 16 under Pastor James Martin at Mt. Olivet Church, where he was mentored through the S.A.L.T. (Student Action Leadership Team) program. He later served as a youth leader, altar worker, and youth choir director.
After some time away, Pastor Lowe returned to ministry, accepting the role of Elder under Prophet Broderick T. Battle Ministries in December 2012 after extensive ministerial training. He attended International Seminary in Los Angeles, completed courses at Apostolic University in Gastonia, North Carolina, earned an Associate of Science in Business Management from Ashworth University in 2007, and is pursuing a Master of Divinity at Virginia Union University’s Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology, expected May 2028.
Ordained in 2017, he also has over 20 years of experience in the banking industry and is currently employed as a risk analyst. Read more>>>
Elder Derarus Lowe
Elder Derarus Lowe was born in Portland, Oregon, on May 21, 1968. He was raised in
the church and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at age 16 under
the ministry of Bishop A.A. Wells at Emanuel Temple Full Gospel Pentecostal Church in
Portland.
During his membership, Elder Lowe served as Assistant Captain of the men’s
Usher Board, helped with the Junior Choir, sang in both the Youth and Adult Choirs, and
served as a Youth Leader supporting the young men known as Sons of Thunder.
Elder Lowe has more than 30 years of experience in the banking industry. He was ordained as an Elder in December 2012 under Prophet Broderick T. Battle Ministries, following
extensive ministerial training.
He is known for his big smile, warm embrace, and love for God’s people. He considers
his motto to be loving people to wholeness. He is a true worshiper and loves to praise
God. Elder Lowe has four children and six grandchildren. He now lives in Southern
California, where he serves as an elder at The Voice Within Ministries.
Elder Patricia Martin
Mother/Elder Patricia Martin was born in San Francisco, California, on January 30, 1953.
Mother Martin accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior on April 6, 1969, at the age of 16, under the ministry of Bishop AA Wells at Emanuel Temple Full Gospel Pentecostal Church in Portland, Oregon.
While a member, she taught Sunday school, served on the usher board, assisted with the junior choir, and sang in both the youth and adult choirs. She was also responsible for reading the church announcements every Sunday. Mother Martin semi-retired after 20 years as a city bus driver and moved to Atlanta, Georgia, to be closer to her son. She then began answering the calling of a church mother. She accepted the role of elder on December 7, 2013, after completing
extensive ministerial training.
Mother Martin fully retired on January 29, 2015, and began to focus on ministry full-time. She is
known for her passion for teaching young women how to be ladies and for blending old-school values into a new generation. She is a powerful woman of prayer, with great wisdom and compassion for all of God’s children. One of her mentors is Evangelist Violet Hall, who has always inspired Mother Martin to stay true to her belief that holiness is still right.
Mother Martin has three children, four grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
She currently serves as an elder of The Voice Within Ministries and resides in Portland, Oregon.
